If i'm not mistaken, i bought this book last year, during a sale at POPULAR. Lucky for me, novels were being sold pretty cheap, as u can see rom the price, only about 15 ringgits, compared to RM30-Rm40, usually, for backpapers books.
As first i was a bit doubtful whether i did a right choice by choosing this book, because firstly, the author name,Jenny Colgan didn't ring a bell to me. When usually i chose a book firstly, because of the author. But the tagline totally got me;
"Life doesn't have a rewind button. Ever wish it did?"
Yeah, i wish it did. Attracted by dat, this book is finally mine.
so what is the story all about?
The story tells us about a women, Flora,32- years old career women, with her own apartmen, car, stable good job, anda boyfriend, who is about to propose to her. Everything seems perfect; except for the fact she didn't really love her boyfriend. She adore him, but the sparks is long gone. She cant imagine living with him forever, and her job; she hates it. because she likes art, and office job doesn't appeal much.
and she miss her first love, the boy who broke her heart; Cllelland.
being miserable, she attends her best friend's wedding;Tashy. There, she saw Cllelland, and she cannot hold it anymore, and right when tashy is cutting her cake, she shouted her wish out aloud:
"i wish i was sixteen again"
and there she goes; being 16 again. but she didn't return to her past time; not to 1965 or whatsoever; itis still the present year; it i just; she is 16. and the only people who can remember her from the pasttime; the adult Flora, is just:
Tashy- her bestfriend
Olly- her boyfriend(ex)
Clelland- Her true love
her parents are also younger, and still married; not divored as what happened when she was 16 long2 ago, bcoz her father cheats on her mom. Being trapped in a 16 years old body of hers and her young hormones; but adult's responsibilities, she decide to make things right and to find out why she is given this chance, along with tashy's help, that finally bring her to clelland once more..
will she be able to return to being 32 n be with clelland?

till today, when i read this book once again, or see it on a bookshelves in any bookstores, i will get this warm feeling.i will smile, and lit up. because life is not something to regret, but to live it truthfully, be true to ur heart.
